Requirements for ScrumMaster Certification (CSM)

 

• To earn her CSM certificate, Tameka took a CSM course from a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and demonstrated her progress through their online CSM test.

• The first step toward her CSM was familiarizing herself with Scrum.

• Then Tameka attended an in-person, two-day (16 hour) CSM course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). After she successfully completed the course, she passed the CSM exam by correctly answering 24 or more of the 35 questions.  Upon completion of this course, Tameka, gained 16 Scrum Education Units (SEUs).

• She accepted the License Agreement and completed her Scrum Alliance membership profile.

 

Requirements for Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO)

 

• The first step toward Tameka receiving her CSPO was familiarizing herself with Scrum.

• She then attended an in-person, two day (16 hour) CSPO course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). Tameka received 16 Scrum Education Units (SEUs).

• The course focused on her role as the Product Owner, CSPO, for a Scrum team. Topics of the course included management of stakeholders, ROI (return-on-investment), backlog grooming, the creation of effective user stories, acceptance criteria for user stories, and defining "Done" in the Scrum methodology.
